EFDA - European Fusion Development Agreement

"The European Fusion Development Agreement (EFDA) is an agreement between European fusion research institutions and the European Commission to strengthen their coordination and collaboration, and to participate in collective activities. Its activities include fusion technology research and development, the exploitation of the world's largest fusion experiment, the Joint European Torus (JET) in the UK, and contributions to international collaborations such as the ITER-project." Auf Basis von Zope wurde ein Contract Management System entwickelt, dass die Verwaltung der Forschungsaufträge gegenüber der bisherigen Lösung (MS-Word, MS-Excel) erheblich verbessert. Neben der Erstellung und Pflege der Verträge (inkl. verschiedener Workflows) ist eine umfangreiche Recherche integriert, die auf Wunsch Gantt-/Bar-/Pie-Charts generiert. Ein Export nach Word bzw. Excel ist ebenfalls enthalten. Zur Verbesserung der Usability wurde das System um DHTML- bzw. Ajax-Features erweitert.
